It was a very colourful display in our school hall this week when children in Years 1 to 6 performed our very special Christmas show, ‘Christmas Around the World.’ Inspired by our experiences in our recent ‘Diversity Week’, we sped off to places as far afield as Brazil, Russia and even Australia as we discovered what Christmas is like in different countries around the world. We learned that Santa Claus both looks and acts very differently in every country: Pere Noel in France, for example, likes to fill shoes with presents while Papai Noel in Brazil swaps presents for socks!
Aside from our Early Years classes (who have their own Christmas show), this production was a whole school effort and everyone worked so fantastically well together with their singing, dancing and acting. What a memorable show it was!
If you are one of the many adults who came to see the show and support the children this week, thank you! We hope you enjoyed it!
