Our recent trip to the Hall Hill Farm was really interesting and of course educational and what a glorious spring day it turned out to be! We enjoyed feeding the animals in pens and finding out about them thanks to our informative guide, Rosie. As you can see by the smiles, we really liked stroking and handling some of the smaller animals – the guinea pigs, rabbits and fluffy chicks. Learning why farm animals are reared for food production supported our current topic Food, Glorious Food. What was particularly awesome was feeding the pet lambs their milk. How strong these three week old babies were!
