We have had two mystery readers this week! This Daddy brought in ‘The Selfish Crocodile’ by Faustin Charles and Michael Terry. It was about a crocodile who wouldn’t let anyone drink or bathe in his river and when he got toothache, nobody would help him except for a brave mouse who climbed in and pulled the tooth out! He then decided to be kinder to all the animals and invited them back to his river.

Our second mystery reader brought in ‘Skimbleshanks: The Railway Cat’ by T. S. Eliot. It was all about a cat called Skimbleshanks who travels on the mail train and keeps watch on all the mice! It had lots of rhyming words in!

Thank you for reading us these lovely stories!
