We have been learning about different materials and their uses. We decided to go out into the school grounds to see what we could find. Can you name any of the materials we found?
We had lots of fun learning how to play tennis. It was very tricky to keep hit the ball but we tried really hard! We are looking forward to our lessons which will start after the half term.
Congratulations to the new members of the School Council who were elected into their positions by classmates this week. I must say, the standard the speeches given by children this year in support of their campaigns was especially high, and all were very persuasive...
This week we had our first violin lesson with Mr Lee. We had so much fun learning how to hold the violin and pluck the strings.
This week we have been completing activities around place value using Numicon and Dienes apparatus. We have had lots of fun representing the numbers in different ways.
