Successful Sponsorship @ Fellside

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to the following companies who have supported our children's ambitions...

Thanks to Venture Stream and some of our amazing parents, we have some high quality signage around school. 

Door signs for Our Space and The Workshop, alongside decal on the walls, show our children that we are taking all the 'extras' that we provide to our community seriously. 

The Character Compass signage in every classroom from Reception to Year Six ensures that our pupils remember our four key rules of Tolerance, Integrity, Respect and Honesty.

Thanks to Tanfield Railway who donated two family tickets for us to use to raise school funds. 

The tickets were raffled off over a few weeks and the money we raised went directly into funding class Christmas parties (treats, prizes and decorations).

Our wonderful group of parents, carers and family members are constantly working to raise funds for items we need in school and provide fun opportunities for children.  During this academic year, so far, we have beneffited from:

• Sixty chairs and storage for audiences to use when they come into our school (thanks to the Great Fellside Carwash back in May 2024

This academic year, they have also led a Pre-Loved Uniform (and Halloween goodies) Sale at the end of the school day on 24th October

They have also arranged links with charities and rewards systems such as the Asda Cashpot for Schools.

Sponsorship doesn't always have to come in the form of money.  Several of our families choose to donate great quality books to us, once they are no longer needed at home. This means agreat deal to us as we can continue to keep our children enthusiastic about the books they read at school, with a supply of new and exciting titles.

With thanks to one of our amazing families and Zenko Consulting, we have been able to transform "Our Space", through an incredibly kind £2,000 donation.  This is a room belonging to the whole school and predominantly used by children who access Specific Zones of Regulation support with Mrs Tate, Friends Resilience sessions with Mrs Clark or other small group/1:1 provision  It is a space we can use when Social Workers or Family Support workers come to our school, a place where external medical providers can speak provately with children, and we are incredibly grateful that we have this space as part of our provision for use by anyone who needs it.  We have money left for a second space, which we will be working on next.
