Welcome to Year 6’s homepage where we will be sharing our news and updates over the year.

Year 6 full of exciting opportunities through which we hope to prepare children for their transition to secondary school.  Children develop their independence, confidence and resilience through roles such as buddies to Reception children and House Captains.  Robin Wood is a wonderful experience for the children in Year 6 and a trip that we hope they will always remember. 

We continue to participate in sporting events, musical experiences (such as learning the ukelele and creating an end-of-year musical show), and have begun our very own business in order to raise funds for end-of-year celebrations. This will be a great opportunity for children to develop their enterprise skills. 

Children in Year 6 work hard in class, and are encouraged to make mistakes and challenge themselves to learn from them. We hope that children leave us feeling proud of their achievements and ready for the next step in their educational journey.
