Everyone was so excited for their trip to Kirkley Hall Wood and Zoo. The day was split into two parts. During the morning we met Jess from Teaching Trees in the woods. We enjoyed a walk searching for signs that spring was almost upon us and then took part in a bug hunt. After lunch Ruby, who works as a Zoo Keeper, took us for a tour around the zoo and to also handle some of the animals. We all had a fantastic day and were well and truly exhausted when we returned to school!
