Welcome to year 6! Year 6 is a busy year with many exciting opportunities for the children to look forward to. This year, the children take on more responsibility as the oldest children in school and we expect them to set an outstanding example to the younger classes.  House captain, school council representative, well-being champion and being a buddy to a reception child are some of the opportunities on offer to them.

Within lessons, the children will be encouraged to work together to share their knowledge and explore new concepts in addition to developing their confidence when working independently. We have a fantastic team of teaching assistants in Key Stage Two who work with the children to support them in securing their knowledge and understanding in addition to the class teacher.
